Publication and objections
After the application is registered, your trademark will be examined by the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO), where they will assess whether it meets the requirements necessary to be granted.
In addition, other people may object to your application for a term of two months. It is important to seek advice during this term by experts who can defend you from possible oppositions, ensuring that your trademark is finally granted.
Once the trademark has been granted, the certificate will be sent by e-mail. Remember that the validity of the registration is ten years initially. After this period has elapsed, you can request renewal for another ten and so on.
