Publication and objections
Once your application has been processed, your trademark will be published by the European Union Intellectual Property Office, where they will assess whether it meets the requirements to be a registered trademark.
In addition, other people may object to your application for a period of three months. It is important to seek advice during this term by experts who can defend you from possible oppositions, ensuring that your trademark is finally granted.
Once the trademark has been granted, the certificate will be sent by e-mail. Remember that the registration validity is for ten years, although once it has elapsed you will be able to request its renewal for another ten years and so on.
